Shell Naturelle S2 Hydraulic Fluid 46 is a fire-resistant, biodegradable, and fully synthetic hydraulic fluid. It’s suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas. It’s also suitable for use in industrial equipment in areas with fire hazards, such as steel mills, surface mines, and foundries.
The number 46 refers to the viscosity grade (VG) of the oil. ISO grades 22 and 46 refer to the oil’s kinematic viscosity in centistokes at 40 degrees Celsius. An ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil has a viscosity of between 41.4 and 50.6 centistokes at 40 degrees Celsius.
