It is formulated for electro-hydraulic control (EHC) valve service in steam and gas turbines and other applications within fossil fuel power station operations, including high-pressure systems and systems with servo valves.

Shell EcoSafe EHC Flushing Fluid is a PAG-based product that removes phosphate ester fluid from EHC systems. It helps with the conversion to Shell EcoSafe EHC S3 DU fluids.
